In these few years, there has been a flood of e-commerce portals and a trend to do shopping online has taken the front seat. This has given a boost to e-commerce photography. More and more companies are getting into e-commerce.
To sell your products on your own website or other websites like SnapDeal, PayTm, Jabong, Fashion and You, Flipkart, Myntra, Yepme, Zovi, Shopclues etc. you need your products to be photographed. Depending on the usage of pictures, e-commerce photography is done in two ways.
– With plain white backgrounds
– With creative backgrounds added using premium editing
E-commerce website photography charges depend on various factors like –
Is it a product only that needs to be shot or it is with model ?
Do you need Indian or foreign model ?
Quantity – How many SKUs / pieces need to be shot in a lot and total ?
For garment photoshoots it depends on kind of garments like are the garments western or Indian. In western garments are they normal wear or night wear/lingerie ?
In Indian garments photoshoot it depends on if the garments are light or heavy ethnic or sarees ?
For product photography it depends on kind of products like – reflective or non reflective ?
To give you a rough estimate – photography charges vary from Rs.25,000 to Rs.45,000 for an 8 hour shift with 3 pictures per product/item/dress with maximum 50 items (SKUs) per lot (for regular customers). Photography is done in our studio against plain backdrop located in Malviya Nagar, Delhi. Low resolution images are provided in e-commerce photography.
Following charges are extra as and if required.
Indian model – Rs.6000 – 12,000 per day
Foreign model – Rs.12,000 – 18,000 per day (for undergarments 25,000 – 40,000)
Makeup + hairstyling – Rs.6000 – 8000 per model
GST 18% extra
*Editing will be done to make background white only. No skin retouching.
Premium Editing (optional) – Rs.300 per image with minimum 25 images.
Payment terms: 50% advance (non-refundable) and balance on the day of the shoot in cash.
Edited images will be provided after few days depending on the work load.
3 model options will be provided out of which one has to be selected. Model booking subject to date availability.
